The first floor of The Square, their luxury apartment building in Ardmore, was unappealing to tenants. The flow from the lobby into residential floors was awkward, and the aesthetics did not match the rest of the building’s high-end interiors.
To make the space more welcoming, we completely opened up the space to the exterior windows to let in more light. With more room to work with, we added a lounge, kitchenette, and even a new restroom for residents.
Aesthetically, we took inspiration from the building’s name. Square motifs can be found in the flooring patterns, custom banquette seating, and in the ceiling and built-in millwork elements. Muted colors, textures, and wood accents soften the hardness of the geometric shapes, making for an overall warm and refined space. Updates to the residential floors also included upgraded lighting, color scheme, and special unit entrances. In addition to architecture and interior design services, we worked with Mack to create an FF&E package that fit within their budget.
