In conjunction with Wimberly Interiors, Coscia Moos Architecture was hired by the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Philadelphia to renovate their lobby restaurant into Aqimero, a Richard Sandoval restaurant. The restaurant is located in the iconic marble lobby, which is modeled after the Pantheon in Rome. The design challenge was to maintain the historicity of the space while updating it for Chef Sandoval’s show kitchen. A wood-burning grill is housed behind glass and is visible from most seats in the restaurant.

The hotel tower is also undergoing renovations: eleven rooms are being upgraded for handicap accessiblity code compliance, the 24th floor model room is being split into two suites, and new finishes and furnishings are being installed in all hotel rooms and corridors.
